What Earth Day Means at Holistic Spirits Co.

Earth Day gives us a chance to talk about something that matters to us year-round: how we build this brand, and what we want it to stand for.

At Holistic Spirits Co., we’ve always believed that what’s behind the bottle matters just as much as what’s in it. That includes how our spirits are made, where key ingredients come from, who we work with, and the kind of impact we want this company to have as it grows.

For us, sustainability is not a side story. It is part of the standard.

Building with more intention

From the beginning, we wanted Holistic Spirits Co. to reflect a broader point of view. Not just great taste, but ingredient integrity, transparency, and a more responsible way of doing business.

That shows up in the choices we make across the brand. We focus on additive-free formulas. We produce in the U.S. We work with distillery partners whose standards matter to us. And we keep looking for ways to build a company that reflects more care at every stage of the process.

The way our spirits are made matters

Where a product is made and who makes it says a lot about the product itself.

Origen Vodka is produced with McClintock Distilling in Frederick, Maryland. Harmony Gin is produced with Griffo Distillery in Petaluma, California. Both partners reflect the kind of production standards that matter to us, and that matters because the story of a spirit starts long before it reaches the glass.

Production is not a backend detail to us. It is part of the product.

Harmony Gin’s Organic Certified status means a lot to us

Harmony’s Organic Certified status is one of the clearest ways to understand what we care about as a brand.

It reflects a more thoughtful approach to ingredients and a commitment to doing things with real standards behind them. It is not just language. It is a choice we made, and one that helps define what Harmony is.

That kind of clarity matters to us. So does trust. When people bring our products into their homes, we want the decisions behind them to hold up.

Sourcing is part of the story, too

For us, ingredient integrity is tied to real places and real growers.

Our artichoke leaves are sustainably harvested in the Loire Valley of France at a third-generation family farm. Our muscadine grapes come from Wray, Georgia, at a sixth-generation family farm. We also use Austrian elderberries as part of the proprietary botanical blend that helps define our spirits. Our site also describes the core blend behind Origen and Harmony as artichoke leaf, elderberry, muscadine grape, and green tea leaf extract.

Those details matter because good sourcing is not separate from quality. It is part of it.

Accountability matters

We also believe values mean more when they are backed by outside standards.

That is part of why our Certified B Corporation status matters to us. It reflects a commitment to building a business that considers more than growth alone.

The Positive Luxury Butterfly Mark matters for the same reason. Both recognitions speak to something bigger than one initiative or one message. They reflect the kind of business we want Holistic Spirits Co. to be.

We do not see that kind of recognition as a finish line. We see it as part of the standard we want to keep meeting.

Holistic Spirits Co. is a proud B-Corp and carries the Positive Luxury Butterfly mark.

Giving back is part of the model

Supporting the planet has to show up in action.

Today, we plant 3 trees for every bottle sold through ForestPlanet. We also support regenerative agriculture because long-term environmental thinking has to include the systems behind how ingredients are grown and how land is cared for over time. Our sustainability update also describes support for regenerative agriculture through 100 Million Acres.

Those commitments matter to us because they connect growth to responsibility. They reflect the kind of impact we want this company to have as it grows.

Earth Day is a reminder of what matters

Earth Day gives us a reason to pause and say this part out loud.

We care about building a spirits company with high standards, strong partners, better ingredients, and a real sense of responsibility behind it. That work is ongoing, and it evolves as we do.

We are proud of the choices we have made so far, and we are even more committed to where we are headed.

This Earth Day, we are grateful for the chance to reflect on that, and to keep building with intention.
